Warm-up of a 7 year old dressage stallion

Very nice mover, holding naturally his neck downwards (unlike my jumper). Andrew emphasises on the importance of doing simple exercises like transitions to keep your horse mentally connected to you. Because it teaches the horse the half-halt. Here actually the stallion is fresh and it helps him to calm down and stabilise in his rythm. I use this exercise for my lazy mare on the circle to sharpen her and make her energetic mentally. But I use it much like a “touch and go” so she starts to have fun and enjoy forgetting that she is doing dressage !
